As part of the REEdI Engineering Symposium held in November 2024, the Industry Trialogue Roundtable brought together a dynamic mix of voices from enterprise, academia, and student engineering cohorts. This engaging session provided a platform for open dialogue on the evolving needs of the engineering workforce and how education and industry can co-create responsive, future-focused programmes. Industry leaders shared insights into emerging technologies and skills in demand, while students and academic staff contributed perspectives on curriculum design, innovation, and work-based learning. The trialogue format encouraged reciprocal exchange and laid the groundwork for deeper collaboration between Munster Technological University and its enterprise partners, reinforcing REEdI’s commitment to shaping engineers equipped for tomorrow’s challenges.
