Mike Edgar

Mike Edgar is a specialist in the field of Immersive Technology, including Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. Mike has a B.Sc. in Computing with Games Development from MTU Kerry Campus (formerly IT Tralee). He is responsible for the maintenance and implementation of new hardware and software solutions for the REEdI program. Mike has spent several years working in the health tech industry in a variety of roles, from test automation to full stack software development. He is particularly interested in accessibility and how new technologies can be implemented to improve accessibility for everyone. 

Outside of work, Mike is an avid advocate for mental health awareness, having volunteered for several charities and organisations including Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health and SpunOut.ie, an Irish youth information website.
