E-Learning
The REEdI eLearning platform will play an important role in preparing students for active participation during the face-to-face learning activities such as lectures, tutorials, and practical lab work. Our aim is to use eLearning to deliver the elements of course material which develops a student’s foundational knowledge. This teaching & learning strategy is essential to allow a flipped classroom approach, where-by teaching and learning is shifted away from the more traditional form of teacher led and teacher centred delivery to one where the lecturer is a facilitator of learning and face-to-face time is focused on applied learning activities.
The eLearning platform will also enable students to develop their self-direct learning skills. This is vital for the student’s success during their formal work placement in years 3 and 4 of the programme.
