The REEdI@MTU team were delighted to be part of the Higher Education Authority Collaboration Nation conference this week, held at the Convention Centre Dublin. We had the opportunity to showcase our HCI Pillar 3 project; REEdI- Rethinking Engineering Education in Ireland. We were joined by our REEdI Student Engineers Caren Karamagi and Shane Callaghan from our new BEng (Hons) in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (CAO code MT834), enterprise partners, project partners University of Limerick and members of our core project team Sarah Flaherty, Eoin O’Connell, Katherine O’Sullivan, Hans Moolman, Padraig Kelly and Anshul Awasthi.
During the event Minister Simon Harris TD gave a Minister’s Address and spoke of the impact the HCI Pillar has had on linking education and enterprise “We have witnessed the transformative power of the HCI Pillar 3……which is truly remarkable”
We are extremely proud of REEdI@MTU for everything we’ve have done to get us to this mid term point in the project.
