Certificate in Integrated Manufacturing Engineering Management

Graduates will be skilled in the design, development, and implementation of the advanced integrated, connected manufacturing systems of the future. It enables graduates to apply Level 8 learning outcomes in the automation and efficient design and implementation of advanced manufacturing systems. The graduate will also be enabled to apply Industry 5.0 concepts to manufacturing systems, including ethical engineering standards.

Modules

The programme is delivered across two semesters, with two modules per semester. There is also a work-based project that runs across both semesters.

Semester 1:

  • Automation, Robotics & Control
  • Engineering Research & Manufacturing Practise

Semester 2:

  • Sustainable Manufacturing Engineering
  • Operation Management Techniques

Semester 1 and 2:

  • Integrated Manufacturing Project

Classes will run online for 2 evenings per week, with a 1 day on campus practical per semester. There is also a weekly check-in (less than 30 mins) with the tutor on the Project.

Why This Course?
