Certficate in Integrated Manufacturing Engineering Management
- Graduates will be skilled in the design, development, and implementation of the advanced integrated, connected manufacturing systems of the future. It enables graduates to apply Level 8 learning outcomes in the automation and efficient design and implementation of advanced manufacturing systems. The graduate will also be enabled to apply Industry 5.0 concepts to manufacturing systems, including ethical engineering standards.
Why This Module?
Upon completion of the Certertificate in Integrated Manufacturing Engineering Management, the learner will be able to:
- Exhibit a profound comprehension of and dedication to professional and ethical duties in engineering practice, demonstrating the prioritization of the well-being of people and the environment, whilst actively engaging in the design, development and delivery of innovative and sustainable solutions for the manufacturing workplace.
- Display an in-depth understanding and articulate the theory, concepts and methods pertaining to the principles and skills in engineering design, development and management.

- Communicate effectively on well-defined engineering activities.
- Identify, select, interpret, compare and critically evaluate design and implementation methodologies to solve complex manufacturing engineering
problems. - Appreciate the organisational structures, commercial governance & legal
commitments in the engineering world. - Exhibit the ability to lead industrial engineering projects through inception, planning, execution and reporting, including detailed research, data collections & analysis, and engage in critical discussion of the outcomes.
Progression Opportunitues
On completion of the course learners can undertake the Certificate in Industry 4.0 and Industrial Internet of Things to gain a BSc (Hons) in Integrated Manufacturing Engineering.

Cost: FREE^/€1,065 subsidised / €2,130 full cost
^Fully funded places are available for eligible learners living or working in the Midlands (Laois, Offaly, Longford, Westmeath). The HCI Micro-credentials subsidy covers 50% of the course fee, the ReSHAPE project will fund the remaining 50%.
For applications not within the midlands, the HCI Learner Fee Subsidy will pay 50% of the programme fee (based on eligibility). The remaining 50%, €1,065, will be payable before registration.
For applicants who aren’t eligible for the HCI Learner Fee Subsidy, the full cost of the programme, €2,130, will be payable before registration.
