Continuous Improving Mentoring
This module is designed to develop the role learners can play as a leader in a problem solving culture. It will introduce skills to be effective in that role and work through scenarios that practice these skills.
Why This Module?
This module is developed for middle managers, first-line supervisors, process owners, project team leaders and internal consultants, coordinators and coaches in organisations working to develop continuous improvement cultures. It will also help those responsible for developing lean/CI leaders within their companies.
Key Learning Outcomes:
The Problem Solving Role of the Mid-level Performance Improvement Leader: Evaluate Continuous Improvement Mentoring methodologies. Identify how CI mentoring can be used to reduce sources of waste and variation within an organisation.
Mentoring Skill Building & Coaching Skills: Examine the key CI mentoring tools and develop the implementation of these via case studies.
Progression Opportunities
This module can be stacked with the Value Stream Mapping Micro-Credential to gain a Special Purpose Award.
